4th Sunday of Lent
Introduction(by the Presider):Rejoicing in God’s mercy and love, we present our prayers to the Father for the Church and for all who are in need.
- For the Church: that she may continue to proclaim the joy and hope of the Gospel, guiding people to Christ during this Lenten season. Lord, hear us.
- For those preparing to receive sacraments:that they may grow in faith and be strengthened by the support of the Christian community. Lord, hear us.
- For Mothers: that they may be blessed for their love and generosity, and that God may guide them in their care for their families. Lord, hear us.
- For older members of our community:that they may be blessed with comfort, good health, and the care of loving family and friends. Lord, hear us.
- For peace:that the peace of Christ may reign in our hearts and in our world, and that nations in conflict may seek reconciliation and justice. Lord, hear us.
- For those who find life difficult:that they may find strength in God’s love and hope in the support of their community. Lord, hear us.
The Presider prays for the dead: For those who have died (especially N & N), and for all mothers who have gone before us in faith: that they may rest in the peace and joy of God’s kingdom. Lord, hear us.
Conclusion(by the Presider): Loving Father, you fill our hearts with hope and joy. Hear the prayers we bring before you through Christ, our Lord.
