Third Sunday of Lent  (23 Mar 25)

Introduction (by the Presider) Let us bring our needs to our compassionate and loving God:

1. For Christians, Jews and Muslims, children of Abraham (pause a moment for quiet prayer). Lord, hear us.
2. For Pope Francis and all people who are sick (pause a moment for quiet prayer). Lord, hear us..
3. For an end to war and trouble, especially in Ukraine (pause a moment for quiet prayer). Lord, hear us.
4. For people still suffering because of COVID (pause a moment for quiet prayer). Lord, hear us.
5. For those who rely on our prayers — neighbours, family and friends (pause a moment for quiet prayer). Lord, hear us.
6. For victims of natural disasters, and all who die in accidents (pause a moment for quiet prayer). Lord, hear us.

The Presider prays for the dead: That the faithful departed may enter the heavenly rest that all people seek (especially N and N) (pause a moment for quiet prayer). Lord, hear us.

Conclusion (by the Presider) God of mercy and compassion, hear the prayers we make, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
