August 2021 – Financial Information regarding Barryroe Parish
A message from Father David O'Connell - Parish Priest
Dear Parishioner,
I begin by saying on behalf of the Parish Finance Committee and myself a sincere thank you to all of you who have supported the upkeep of the Parish and my ministry here among you. It is greatly appreciated.
This notice offers information on Financial Matters and the multiple ways you can give to meet the Financial Needs of the Parish.
To the many of you who are currently supporting the Parish via direct debit or give via annual cheque or cash donations – you don’t need to do anything and I thank you for continuing to give your support in this way.
If you wish to sign up for Direct Debit you can call to me and I will give you a prepared Letter for your Bank.
With hindsight I’ve decided to restore the Weekly Boxes which will be available from September and will take us to the end of 2022. The envelope system is something you are used to and it will help to maintain, in an easier way, the Tax Rebate System from Revenue. You might collect them at the sacristy as soon as possible.
Finally there is the option of using the Donate Button System Scheme that was introduced in March. This facility gives you the opportunity for Offertory giving or to donate to the Priest directly via the website at barryroe.ie.
An explanation of how to use it can be accessed here
I assure you whatever method of giving you choose your offering will end up in the appropriate place.
The Parish is not looking for any extra money but rather looking to maintain its regular day to day needs for both Maintenance and Ministry.
May I take this opportunity once again to sincerely thank you all for your on-going generous support.
Fr David O’Connell
